THE FIRST DRAFT IS FINISHED!

Hello hello, 

How are you? Happy Friday. 

Often I start this newsletter saying it’s going to be short and sweet and it turns out not to be. 

This one really will be! 

VERY GOOD NEWS MY END: I have finished the first draft of my new book about love; more specifically how to have a life with love in it that doesn't have to include marriage and children.

It starts with experiences I had before lockdown and it ends in our lockdown times. There is sex and nudity in it, which has caused me much anxiety. I've been waking up at 3am with a pounding heart thinking 'you're not really going to write about this are you?' But it seems that I am. 

I am very, very relieved to get this far and now I’m taking the month off.

The plan is to spend the next few weeks in the real world, seeing and squeezing real humans, rather than sitting alone by a screen.  

I will also take a break from the newsletter and social media in July, so the next newsletter will be in August when I get back to my computer for book re-writes / edits. Help Me! was re-written about 4 times. I'm hoping this one won't need that much re-working. But let's see. 

One step at a time. 

Hope you guys are able to take some time off. I reckon many of us are very tired right now. What a year and a bit it's been.
