Hi Marianne. Sending lots of love and well wishes to you, and I hope all of these things continue to help. And I wanted to say that your book is amazing and will have a positive impact on so many people. I could not put it down after I bought it at Wilderness, and it has really helped me to think more widely about relationships and sex, and start to work out what it is that I need and want. THANK YOU for writing it. It really is a huge gift. I wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas xxx

Hi Marianne, I found this post so, so helpful.. as a sufferer of chronic fatigue and various other debilitating symptoms due to an autoimmune condition. I felt so heard reading this and can relate to so much of it. Thank you for being so honest and open, I’m sure it helps a lot of people. 🙏🥰

Sending love to you! Sorry you’re going through it. I navigated towards craniosacral sfuff during my burnout too. Go gently and I’m glad you have support xxx

Thank you for sharing. I have been exposed to major mold and have many of these symptoms. I agree that the nervous system is shot, and the things you are doing are all in support of shoring that up—good advice for anyone experiencing any type of extreme burnout or debilitating illness. Best wishes for continued improvement 🙏🏻

Thank you for the reminder that others mask as much as ourselves. I feel very naive about the book industry I would have thought authors of world selling books were financially stable. I’m sorry to assume. I’m sorry to assume health to others when I am hiding depression. I’m sorry to assume.

Ah Tara, what a lovely response. We all assume things, don't we and so often we are wrong. Sending love. xx

Thank You. I booked Craniosacral myself for back pain, but cancelled as I wanted a quick fix. I'll look at it again in the New Year. I had Vitamin injections last year, really good as a boost, as with everything it didn't last forever. Vitamin B12, D and C. It felt like someone had put my brain in a washing machine for ten minutes, always a bonus.

Thank you for writing this, Marianne, for people with long covid and other long-term health issues and for people who don't and who want to understand more. I feel so much love and care coming off the page, from yourself to yourself (although I know it's probably not always the case) and from your family, friends and community to you. I think acceptance of ourselves, our situation, is ever-moving and a lifelong project, some days it's easier to find than others x

Sending you lots of love. It's like reading about myself right now. I only wish I got off the achievement hamster wheel sooner. I now find myself grateful for having energy and, like you, doing things. Last night I sorted three bags of clothes for charity and felt like I'd won an Olympic medal 😁 Have you heard of the Gupta Program? I'm finding it very helpful. They do a free 30 day trial x

Thank you for writing this. Every day for four years I have woken up hoping we will find something to help my husband. 💗. Sending love.

Such a great article. I also struggle with long covid, it’s been four years now. It’s up and down and it’s so much better than before, my main symptom now is the fatigue you describe. My cognitive function is much improved, (NAC and coenzyme Q10 I think). I’ve had to make radical changes and be in a state radical acceptance, and do the spoons thing so I can function. Christmas was so much! Thank you for sharing! ✨

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I remember that intense fatigue phase when I fell ill with ME. It’s tough but it sounds like you’re doing all the right things. It’s hard, but there are defo light spots too. Keep sleeping and listening to your body. Hx

I absolutely love yoga nidra and have found it one of the most helpful practices in completely resetting my nervous system and allowing my body deep rest. It's the first thing I turn to now when I'm depleted. Really appreciating your honest and insightful shares Marianne.
